Oral Sex and Young Teens: The New 3rd Base?
This workshop is designed to provide health teachers, school counselors, health educators, school and public health nurses, and youth-serving professionals with the opportunity to clarify their values about young teens engaging in oral sex, and strategize ways to tackle this difficult and complex issue. Participants will be encouraged to take off their “adult glasses" and examine oral sex from the developmental perspective of a young teen. Lesson ideas to help young people recognize the risks of engaging in oral sex will be discussed.
