Sexploitation: Clever Marketing or Ethical Dilemma? Creating Vision in Sport! |
The purpose of this program is to create a discussion on the issue of sexploitation in sport. Participants in the session examine the concept of sex infiltrating the sport scene. What is sexploitation? What are the ethical implications of sexploitation for the athlete, the athletic director, the coach, the fan, the program, and society? Following presentation of concepts, small groups attack specific problems related to sexploitation in sport. Attendees then develop plans to educate constituent groups about this concept. The session closes with a question and answer period and a homework assignment. |
