Wow, I Learned It! At Risk and SPED Students are Enjoying Health Because of Graphic Organizers
Participants at this session will be actively involved in the creation of graphic organizers, (mind maps), and will make one to take home. The focus of the presentation will be to show how reading, comprehension, and organization are greatly improved with the use of graphic organizers. Because reading and comprehension are the primary focus in education, graphic organizers will be used to stimulate interest in your classroom. Research has shown that vocabulary also increases when this method is used.
