Avoiding I.P.S. (Irritated Parent Syndrome)
This session is intended for coaches who are new to the profession. Coaches are anxious to share our expertise and strategies of our respective sports, but are we really ready to meet the needs of the student athletes and the expectations of the parents? We will present the “Top 10 Ways to Irritate Parents” as well as suggestions on how to avoid those situations. The presenters have been athletes, coaches, officials and one is now in the role of the parent. You will be both amused and disgusted as we share our “history and experience” in this eye-opening session.
