Teaching Sexuality Education In Today's Schools: A New Paradigm |
This activity based program will encompass two parts. The first will overview what health and physical education teachers and parents feel are the most important goals of a sexuality education program, grades 6-12, in today's adolescent social climate based on the presenter’s research. The second part will focus on sexuality education experiential activities, grades 6-12, that focus on the affective domain, and can be readily implemented into the classroom. All participants will leave with several packets of information to implement into their classroom. This program is geared for teachers as well as those in higher education professional preparation programs. |
