Depression and Teens: What it Means for Education and Youthwork |
Hear diverse teens describe the inner reality of the depression experience and the impact of interactions with adults. Discuss the role of classroom teacher and youthworker in creating environments conducive to mental health. Explore school and community action to increase awareness of teen depression and concrete steps to promote healing. A program model used in Wisconsin will be presented along with evaluation results. |
