Using Physical Education Activity Guides for Including Students with Disabilities
Teachers are always in search of different ideas and strategies for teaching skills, sports, and games. When including students with disabilities, there is often a higher need for different ideas and strategies. Flaghouse and LRPAF collaborated on five activity guides that address locomotor activities, net and wall, striking and fielding, team passing sports, and personal performance activities that include students with disabilities. They specifically address ideas, modifications, and equipment for them. This session will share lesson ideas from the activity guides that are related to the abovementioned themes. Equipment related to various lessons will also be shared.
