AAPAR/Fitness & Wellness Council endorsed by American Association for Health Education, Community
Creating, Promoting, and Implementing Community Based Fitness Programs
From the creators of Salem, Massachusetts' “City Wide Shape-Up,” “Boot Camp", “Witch City Adult & Youth Triathlon”, amongst others, the presenters describe how to create, promote, and implement fitness oriented community programs designed to appeal to the general public of all ages and abilities. Proven tools and techniques on how to involve community leaders and community organizations to help promote and support the programs will be discussed. Participant will leave with resources needed to recreate the highlighted programs.
