COPEC Day: Moving Away From Running Laps: Fitness Infused Instant Activity for Elementary Physical Education |
This interactive session is centered on creating purposeful, appropriate instant activities that not only link learning to the remainder of the lesson but also explicitly infuse fitness concepts into the overall learning experience. During this session, participants will reaffirm the most current best practices for elementary fitness, and will learn innovative methods for creatively combining fitness with instant activity. The overriding theme of this session targets the need for creating, organizing and implementing purposeful, explicit learning for students as soon as they enter the learning environment. Participants will be invited to get up and move like a child!. |
