The results of a study by Czech, Zwald, Joyner and Watson (2005) indicated future trends in University Basic Instruction Programs.
This presentation will include: maintaining centrality to college and university mission; gaining or continuing departmental/college support; evaluating instructors, courses, facilities, equipment; accommodating student needs; providing letter grade or pass fail options; accommodating university faculty/staff; utilizing an efficient administrative model; incorporating current trends; networking/advocating; establishing good public relations,identifying and selecting instructors; scheduling; implementing policies and procedures; pre-service training; in-service training; evaluating; providing teaching incentives, awards, and recognition. |
