Cooperative Games in Outdoor Education |
Cooperative games give students the opportunity to develop skills without the concern of becoming the "loser" in the game. Everyone works with each other to get through the task at hand. These kinds of activities promote problem solving, communication, trust, teamwork, and establishment of friendships with other peers. The games we will teach will focus on the grades of middle school through college. It is important to have students involved in cooperative games, this enhances their social development at the same time learning is taking place, and it is a fun way to get the class motivated in working together. |
