CANCELLED--Putting the HECAT to Work!
The target audiences for this half-day, in-depth conference are health educators who work as state department of education coordinators, local school district coordinators, and higher education teacher preparation faculty. Participants will initially be introduced to the CDC’s Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool (HECAT). They will then be divided into two tracks: (1) trained as trainers to disseminate the HECAT to local school districts for reviewing health education curricula; or (2) health education higher education teacher preparation faculty trained to teach pre-service teachers how to utilize the HECAT. **Breakout room for this session is 251C.
