Balancing Contemporary Research with Real World Constraints
This session aims to assimilate contemporary research findings in pedagogy and motor learning literature with the real world constraints faced by today’s physical educators and coaches. Topics to be presented will range from non-traditional practice structures to techniques for motivating and maintaining your students’/athletes’ interests. Through the use of panel discussion and debate, our goal will be to provide a balanced approach to discussing the challenges and rewards of implementing current research into your lessons and/or practices.
