| Master Teacher of Adapted Aquatics |
| During this 4-hour workshop, participants will learn how to conduct the Adapted Aquatics Instructor Course. Prerequisites include: (1) completing a Master Teacher of Adapted Aquatics application (found on the AAPAR website) including an essay and vita, and being ACCEPTED INTO THE WORKSHOP; (2) must posses current "AAPAR Adapted Aquatics Instructor" credential OR the YMCA Swimming Instructor for Individuals with Disabilities Certification; (3) current CPR, First Aid, and AED certificates. Final exam for the Master Teacher of Adapted Aquatics exam will be given upon completion of workshop. 80% must be achieved to become a trainer for the adapted aquatic instructor course. |
