Body Recall - Lifetime Fitness for Every Body!!!
Through a demonstration by older adults and personal participation, attendees of this session will learn about an educational exercise experience known as Body Recall. Created in 1978 by Dorothy Chrisman in Berea, Kentucky, this program is specifically developed to fit people of all ages and physical abilities, improving strength, flexibility, and balance. The slow and smooth exercises used help to reclaim range of movement that is pain free and possible, making living more pleasurable. The Body Recall program has been lauded by the American Association of Retired Persons and the U.S. Public Services Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.
