Technological Tools for the Health and Physical Educator |
Designed for any educator looking to improve the instructional process or integrate technology into the classroom, this hands-on session will identify and demonstrate the types of technology that can be used across the curriculum at all grade levels. Instruction will focus on introducing computer applications such as Microsoft Publisher (certificates, flyers, brochures and newsletters), Front Page (webpage design), and PowerPoint (presentations). There will also be examples of student created web pages and electronic portfolios. Other forms of education-friendly technology such as handheld devices and digital cameras will be discussed along with actual student projects ranging from brochures and flyers to digital video production. |
