Are your high school physical education students tired of the same sport activities? Students will love the opportunity to develop lifelong skills through a fun and interactive unit. Concerned with liability issues of undertaking an outdoor adventure activity? The session will discuss the systematic steps to be taken by the teacher/instructor to help insure that the needed skills: (physical conditioning, backpacking knowledge, care and prevention of injuries, and emotional preparation) of each student are achieved. |
