The Outdoor Education Experience: An Adventure in Physical Education |
The "Outdoor Education Experience", is a senior level PE elective at Boiling Springs High School, Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the safe and appropriate use of local resources while promoting lifelong fitness and physical activity. The "Outdoor Education Experience" provides a meaningful learning experience for students to become active participants in high school physical education. An informal discussion and question/answer session designed to inform registrants as to how the program has evolved into a positive student and community teaching tool. |
