Kudos and Complaints: What Kids Say About School Health Programs
Linda L. Morse and Jim McCall, New Jersey Department of Education, Trenton, NJ

What do kids really think about school health programs? How would they rate their physical education teacher? Thumbs up or down for school lunches? We talked with middle school students and we got some thought-provoking comments and some great ideas. How can their ideas be used by schools and teachers to improve school health programs? Participants will view materials developed as part of this multi-leveled campaign to promote healthy, active lifestyles for New Jersey students.
