Students received health messages based on Healthy People 2010 Leading Health Indicators and curricular experiences through classes. The purpose of this session is to illustrate how health educators and researchers can obtain access to schools, work with teachers and administrators, and deliver culturally appropriate health messages to underserved students. Those attending will learn strategies that will help them access school-aged children and intervene with culturally appropriate health curricula. | ||
