A team of student teachers from Canada have engaged in a collaborative venture with local educators and health professionals to launch the first network of health promoting schools in the Eastern Caribbean. This presentation provides an overview of the process that lead up to the project, project activities, youth development outcomes, and the impact on student teachers' thinking about health promotion as school reform, curricular revitalization, and health promotion inspired teacher development.
