Description: In this ISOPHE/ISHA sponsored program, participants will learn about the benefits (both anticipated and unanticipated) of coordinating efforts around school wellness issues. The session will show how one school created an all-school wellness team from the eight-component model for coordinated school health by Allensworth and Kolbe. Attendees will examine how they might apply/modify this national model to reap the benefits of coordination and better meet the wellness needs of their school.
