Andrew L. Shim, Indiana University Of Pa, Indiana, PA

This session will explain possible senarios that cause participants to express hostility while taking an online college course. Similarities will be demonstrated as compared to common "Road Rage" behaviors we see during a daily commute session. By comparing these behaviors, will online instructors learn to defuse hostile participants and get them to complete their Distance Education journey on the Superhighway of Knowledge without any additional fear of hostility or reprisal.
