AALR/Council for Adventure and Outdoor Education/Recreation
Maps, Clues, and Compasses: An Urban Adventure
This is an active session that will allow the participant to discover the adjacent areas around the convention center using a unique and ‘different’ approach. Each team of participants will be given a compass, map, and a series of questions that they need to seek out the answers. Bring your walking shoes and be ready to get some exercise and discover the area! This is a great activity for any new site orientation, and can be adapted for a variety of populations and age groups. Participants meet in the registration area and look for the sign "Urban Adventure."
