Health Curriculum: Integration, Selection and Innovation
This session will provide models of integration of health into other subject areas. Quality, research-based health education is an important component of CSHP. Choosing the best curriculum from the multitudes that are available can be difficult. Strateigies to assist in the selection, and integration of curricula will be presented. Three new CDC tools will be highlighted. This session will also address the multitude of variables associated with at-risk youth, which comprise the innovative themes of a proposed curricular framework. The systematic integration of CSHP components will be discussed.
