Latin Jazz Dance Technique!
Be prepared to move and have fun! Latin Jazz is a popular style performed with energy in class, in social settings, and by choreographers working with famous stars! This session focuses on classic jazz moves with a Latin twist, using cha-cha, salsa, samba, and other rhythms. Movement will be accompanied by Latin music obtained from imported CDs and club mixes danced in the US. Participants will practice two movement styles in one! Experience a classical form that has evolved from deep-rooted, beautiful cultures. Learn how social dances emerge into international styles. The presenter is the Nu Delta Alpha Council Chair.
