Assessment Made Fun and Easy: Ten Techniques Teachers Can Use for Short Term Assessment
Over the past decade, there has been an increased push for classroom assessment. Teachers often rely on paper and pencil tests to collect assessment data, for lack of other techniques. However, there are many fun and easy ways to incorporate assessment into classroom instruction. This session introduces the participant to concepts and theories behind the use of short term assessment. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in ten techniques that can be used to assess students. Presentation methods include Powerpoint presentation, individual activity, small group and large group participation. Handouts will be provided.
