Master Teacher of Adapted Aquatics Credentialing Workshop
This is a 4-hour workshop to learn to conduct the Adapted Aquatics Instructor Course. Prerequisites include: 1) Filling out a Master Teacher of Adapted Aquatics application (found on the AAALF web page) including an essay and vita, and then being accepted into the workshop; 2) Must possess current "AAALF Teacher of Adapted Aquatics" credential OR the YMCA Swimming Instructor for Individuals with Disabilities certification; 3) Current CPR, first aid and AED certificates. Final exam for the Adapted Aquatics Instructor course will be given during the workshop and an 80% passing must be achieved to continue the workshop.
