SPARKing the After School Crowd
In this session, concepts and methodology from the SPARK Active Recreation program will prepare you to instruct effective movement lessons for individuals, pairs, small and large groups. We know that many after school programs face a variety of barriers: facilities, limited space indoors/outdoors, great variance of skill and age level of kids, and a shortage of equipment. Take from this session “real world” strategies for overcoming these obstacles and great ideas for conducting activity programs that are inclusive, active for ALL, and FUN. Next step – you’ll find more and more youth signing up for your after-school program!.
