Intergenerational Education: Linking the Past to the Present and Connecting to the Future
The purpose of the workshop is to present innovative and creative ways to utilize children in leisure programs for older adults. Types of intergenerational programs, methods of incorporating children in programs in a variety of settings, and demonstration of intergenerational activities in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains will be presented. Successful programs will also be illustrated.
