Technology in the Dance Classroom
This session will feature the use of two graphic software programs and their application in the dance classroom. Participants will view video examples of graphic animation integrated with live performance as well as classroom activities. Participants will be introduced to the basic procedures for using the software programs "Poser" and "LifeForms." They will have the opportunity to create their own graphic animation and choreography. Cindy Hoban is the 2004 Dance Educator of the Year (K-12). She received a grant in 1998 that supported her exploration of the integration of graphic animation and live performance.
