Introduction to Dance/Movement Therapy
Experience the therapeutic power of dance/movement therapy (D/MT). As dance specialists, we are aware of the potential for self-expression through the body - it is wonderful to help individuals and groups manage their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual health with movement as that medium. D/MT is a viable career choice for movers who are psychologically inclined. If you wonder how to bridge these disciplines into a growing creative arts field, you must attend this workshop. Participants will study basic D/MT principles, a graduate program, and the therapeutic power of movement within the context of a mock D/MT session.
