Sport Marketing Experiential Learning- Increasing Attendance for University Athletics
An exploration of a successful experiential collaboration for sport marketing students that increased their learning and benefited University Athletics as well. Hampton University students participated in a model that truly applied the basics of sport marketing to real life situations. Increases in attendance for this NCAA Division I Athletic program have been observed. Session compares learning results of written case studies versus experiential learning with implications on the effectiveness of each classroom tool. Geared toward sport management faculty and students.
