Emerging Philosophies: 50 Years of Philosophical Debate on Health and Health Promotion
This session is co-sponsored by AAHE's History and Philosophy Committee and Eta Sigma Gamma. The purpose of this session is to discuss the impact of selected events of the past 50 years on health education and health education philosophies. In addition, panelists will be asked to identify their philosophy of health education and how this philosophy has affected their work. This session would be especially important for students/young professionals interested in learning more about philosophical approaches to health education. The composition of the panel is subject to change.
