Yeh! Health! Words That You Never Thought Your Students Would Say!
Participants that attend this session will be actively involved in the creation of graphic organizers and will construct one to take home. The attendee will leave this session with the skills of how to make graphic organizers to improve their students reading comprehension in health. This program is important to an educator because graphic organizers are an innovative way to enable students to make and build connections within your health curriculum. Reading comprehension is the primary focus in education and graphic organizers help to stimulate interest in your classroom. Research suggests that vocabulary is increased using this method of learning.
