Bridging the Gender Gap: Cooperative Activities for EVERYONE
How can we, as physical educators, lay the foundation for high expectations at the start of a new school year, while at the same time making learning fun and equitable for girls as well as boys? Incorporating cooperative activities at the beginning of the school year is an excellent way for a teacher to set up a physically and emotionally safe class environment. Come join this fun-filled, activity-based session that we hope will help you rediscover the value of using a variety of gender equitable cooperative activities within your classroom. Every session participant will receive a set of materials describing over 20 cooperative activities!
