Physical Fitness Goal Setting and Test Interpretation in the 21st Century
The use of “Standardized Benchmarks” in physical fitness testing will enhance individual goal setting and test interpretation in the 21st Century. This session is designed for physical education teachers at all levels and measurement and evaluation specialists. This new approach to test interpretation and goal setting is designed to emphasize progression and insure individual health-related fitness improvement from the lowest to the highest levels of achievement. Research has shown that even in school districts where physical fitness is emphasized; only about 52 percent of the males and 48 percent of the females improve each year in health-related physical fitness.
