Stress: The Salt & Pepper of Life!
Like fat and cholesterol, stress has been unnecessarily envisioned as being very, very, bad. While too much stress, like too much fat and cholesterol, can be bad, we need moderate levels of stress in order to survive. Hans Selye, the world’s authority on stress, said stress is the salt and pepper of life. Perception and personality dictate how much and what kind of stress each of us can satisfactorily experience. This session will expose the misconceptions of stress and show how perceptions and personality are the keys to adequately coping with stress.
