| Description | This is a two-part session. Part I will take a look at safe activities when working with cochlear implanted children, whose numbers have increased in adapted PE classes in the last few years. Part II will focus on deaf and hard of hearing children in public school settings and your understanding the interpreter/transliterator's role in the educational environment with the goal of learning how physical educator can work together with the interpreter/transliterator to improve the teaching/learning environment in physical education and health classes. |
