Grassroots Advocacy: State Action Plans that Work
This 2-hour session will provide skills and resources needed to build successful state and local advocacy initiatives on behalf of health education and physical activity promotion. This session will highlight states and districts that have developed advocacy plans that have met with success in their state legislatures and with local governing bodies. Participants will be provided with the tools needed to develop and implement their own advocacy plans.
