AALR/Council for Adventure and Outdoor Education/Recreation
Adventure, 'Clues' and Fitness: An Urban Initiative
Participants meet at the convention registration desk (look for the sign "Urban Initiative"). To begin this session you will discover the area around the convention center using a unique and 'different' approach. Small teams of participants will be given information packets of 'clues/questions' that they need to seek out and find answers. The solutions will depend on how well the team can decipher clues and work/think together. Wear walking shoes and be ready for some exercise. This great initiative activity can be adapted for any new site orientation and for a variety of populations and age groups.
