Creating Useful and Effective Partnerships
This two-part session will explore ways to develop and cultivate partnerships among state education and health agencies, colleges and universities, and non-profit organizations to promote school-based health education, physical education and dance programs. The second part of this session examines specifically how local education agencies can build collaborative relationships with a local higher education institution that can result in a winning combination for the schools and for the college or university. A number of projects with the potential to result in the development of skills for both the health education pre-service college student and the K-12 health education program will be offered.
