Spice Up Your HPER Club!
This session to will give students and HPER Clubs a checklist on how to organize a HPER club or a chapter, how to increase the club's membership, and how students can use the HPER Club to increase their knowledge and professionalism. Some topical areas include: how to generate enthusiasm in a HPER Club, how to generate revenue for the club, what programming ideas are essential to the growth of the club, and keys to smooth transitions of the club when leaders of the club graduate. The session will include an idea swap (constitution, by-laws, service projects, fund-raising) and a chance to network with other students and advisers of professional organizations.
