Including Students with Disabilities in Physical Education
This is a two-part session. Part I of this session addresses highlights strategies for addressing the needs of learners with disabilities in the inclusive physical education setting, while considering the potential barriers encountered due to language differences, cultural experiences, learning styles, and mobility limitations. Part II of this session will use video technology to share the Problem-based learning (PBL) approach as an instructional method that challenges students to "learn to learn" by working cooperatively in groups to seek solutions to real world problems.
