Professional Preparation, Practice and Ethics
The internship is a capstone experience providing health promotion students with opportunities to apply academic training to the practical environment. This program's focus includes: 1) critical concerns of health promotion majors regarding the internship; 2) mentoring and supervisory skills required of the university and on-site supervisors; 3) components of a career portfolio; 4) effective job search skills.
