Physical Education Advocacy Session
Advocacy for physical education has become one of the major issues within our profession for the last several years. Recognizing the importance of advocacy, the Council for School Leadership for Physical Education, has put together several topics. Each participant will be able to choose from a variety of programs and select three that they will be able to attend during the two-hour session. The topics that are offered are: ·Educating parents about appropriate physical education ·Promoting physical activity through school-community collaboration ·Exciting youth about physical activity ·State-wide physical fitness day ·Changing a community's attitude about physical education.
