J.B. Nash Scholar Breakfast & Awards
The J.B. Nash Scholar is the highest award given by AALR and is among the most prestigious awards in the leisure and recreation profession. Please join AALR at the J.B. Nash Breakfast as we honor Dr. Lowell Caneday of Oklahoma State University as the 2004 J.B. Nash Scholar. Dr. Caneday's lecture will be "Constructing and Deconstructing Leisure Studies: Curriculum, Accreditation, and Professionalism" In addition to the J.B. Nash Scholar Award being presented, AALR will also be honoring the recipients of the Outstanding Achievement, Meritorious Service, Tommy Wilson Memorial, Friend of Recreation and Honor Awards.
