| Terrorism Issues for Facility Managers Since 9/11: An Updated Report |
| Due to the impact of the events on 9/11/01, an understanding of the various techniques employed by facility managers to combat terrorism would undoubtedly be advantageous for those interested in stadium and arena management. In addition, various academic agencies (NASPE/NASSM) have indicated that courses in facility and event management would be a valuable content area for students to acquire management and organizational skills. Therefore, a practical need exists for event/facility managers as well as a curricular need exists for interested students to be aware of the various terrorist issues associated with stadiums and arenas. |
