In response, the purpose of this presentation is to (a) provide an understanding of bone health and bone cell physiology during the lifespan and (b) describe age/developmentally appropriate exercise, nutritional, and pharmacological strategies to maximize bone mineralization, prevent bone loss, and promote bone remineralization. The findings of original case study and longitudional research will be presented, and during the interactive part of this session, analyzed by participants for the purpose of developing self-assessment/self-change strategies intended to promote bone health across the lifespan.
