| Statewide Support for Implementation of Dance Standards |
| Who is going to provide support for the implementation of dance/fine arts standards that will facilitate and ensure relevance and rigor in promoting student achievement? This program will present a standards-linked model, Center for Educator Development in Fine Arts (CEDFA), developed by the Texas Education Agency in 1998. It is a virtual center that provides ongoing support, resources, and professional development for dance/fine arts educators to effectively implement the standards. Information and samples of resources such as a website, training cadre, and professional support materials will be provided to facilitate action planning in all states and nationally. |
